Recently, President Obama Announced a new method to ensure that people moving into the new healthcare system will experience a smoother process. On his website, it was said:
“President Obama has announced new measures that will smooth the transition to the Affordable Care Act by allowing insurance companies to continue their 2013 health care plans through next year to help Americans receiving insurance cancellation notices.”
The President has always said his top priority is to make sure the Affordable Care Act achieves its goal of providing all Americans with the opportunity to purchase comprehensive health care at affordable costs—and that he’s willing to listen to any ideas people have to improve the law. Yesterday’s announcement validates that principle.”
Conversely, political colleagues on the other side of the aisle ontinue to attempt to undermine the basic rights that the ACA provides. That article continues.
“That’s in stark contrast to Obamacare’s opponents who continue to try undermine or derail the the Affordable Care Act altogether. They want to revert back to a broken system that left millions of Americans behind, denied coverage to people with preexisting conditions, and drove countless families into bankruptcy just because someone got sick.”
So, despite working to ensure a smoother transition, problems are being continually encountered.
