A bi-partisan group of 35 house members, including Seventh District Representative Stephanie Murphy, is requesting a meeting with President Trump to discuss infrastructure investments in America, an issue he promised during his campaign to address. During her remarks at the last meeting of the SemDems, the freshman congresswoman characterized the group, the House Problem Solvers Caucus, as individuals who “want to get things done” and are willing to work across party lines.
“As a former businesswoman, I understand the importance of having a strong and robust infrastructure to create jobs in central Florida and strengthen our region’s economy,” said Murphy in a news release. “Central Florida has numerous major infrastructure needs that directly affect our daily lives, and I will work with whomever it takes to get results for our region.”
